This is an ideal retirement ranch, small cattle operation, second home or bed and breakfast.
The famous Chaco Canyon Indian ruins are near by and some artifacts and ruins are to be found on the ranch. The Mule Deer hunting is good on the ranch and there is one either sex Elk and four cow elk land owner permits allowed by the New Mexico Game and Fish Department for the ranch. There are numerous coyotes, many types of birds, rabbits and small mammals on the ranch. Hiking, trail riding and rock climbing can be done all over the ranch.
